Taking care of your shoes is important, especially if you want to keep them as good as the first day!
Here you will find some general tips for the correct conservation of your shoes and you can also consult our Guide:
A good cleaning: Taking care of your shoes involves cleaning them regularly. Having a soft cloth and a good brush is essential, and having one for each colour, or at least one for black shoes and another for the rest of the colours will save you a lot of headaches! Shoes are not always cleaned in the same way or with the same products, you can consult our section on shoe cosmetics to find the product that best suits each type of material to keep your shoes looking their best.
Store your shoes correctly: When changing your wardrobe or if you have to store your shoes for a long period of time, do not cover them with plastic, the best thing to do is to put them in cotton bags without stacking them.
Wet shoes: If you come home with wet shoes, wipe them with a soft cloth to make sure you remove all the water on the surface. You can fill them with newspaper or a small towel and replace them as they absorb the excess moisture. Never leave them next to a radiator or heat source because the skin runs the risk of cracking.
